Institute in Wageningen wants to unlock the secrets of photosynthesis

A new research institute in Wageningen hopes to “unravel the secret of photosynthesis efficiency” in the coming years. At the new Jan IngenHousz Institute, dozens of researchers will look for ways to ensure that plants can use sunlight even more efficiently to grow. “If that succeeds, the yield of crops will improve enormously,” says Wageningen University & Research.
